Greece's Minister of Defense Nikos Dendias presented a new arms supply doctrine.
Modern.az reports that the main goal of the doctrine is to ensure that the main weapon systems purchased by Greece are not sold to Turkey in the future without written and legal guarantees.
The reason for this decision is Germany's sale of the same type of submarines to both Greece and Turkey. This situation caused serious concern in Athens and led to demands for stricter guarantees regarding arms export policy.
In other words, a written guarantee preventing the sale of the same platforms to Ankara will be requested.
