Discord and OpenAI transfer user data to US special services.
Modern.az reports, citing foreign media, that the Discord internet resource acts as the main “data provider” for a service called “Persona”.
This service transfers data via selfies to US authorities, including the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
In most cases, Persona operates in conjunction with OpenAI to form a complete dossier on the user: it records full name, passport information, address, gender, height, and links to photographs of documents.
It should be recalled that the Chat GPT program, which has gained widespread popularity in Azerbaijan, belongs to the OpenAI company.
