The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) claimed that approximately 40 key representatives of the Iranian military leadership were neutralized during the first strike carried out against Iran on February 28.

It was reported that in the initial phase of the operation, approximately 40 commanders, including the leadership of the Iranian regime's Ministry of Defense, were eliminated.
It was also noted that the Israeli army neutralized dozens of air defense (AD) systems in the western and central regions of Iran, thereby creating conditions for the establishment of air superiority over Tehran.
