Israel's Defense Minister Israel Katz announced that the country's Defense Army aims to kill Hezbollah group's Secretary-General Naim Qassem.

The minister noted that the decision was made against the backdrop of "Hizbullah"'s strikes on Israeli territory with rockets and unmanned aerial vehicles.
"Firing at Israel will cost "Hizbullah" dearly, and Naim Qassem is now a target to be eliminated", - Katz wrote.
