Britain a new ambassador to Azerbaijan appointed

The new Ambassador of Great Britain to Azerbaijan, Duncan Norman, has been appointed.

Modern.az reports that the ambassador shared a post about this on his X account.

“I am honored to be appointed as the next Ambassador of Britain to Azerbaijan! I look forward to building on the foundations of our bilateral relations and continuing the important work on our shared priorities to deepen the UK-Azerbaijan partnership,” the ambassador added.

It should be noted that the new ambassador Duncan Norman will begin his duties in May 2026.
