India has allowed Iran's IRIS Lavan warship to anchor in its port.
Modern.az referring to Bloomberg, reports that Indian officials have released information on this matter.
According to the information, Iran requested urgent acceptance of the ship from India on February 28, and this request was approved on March 1. The ship has been located in Kochi port since March 4.
According to a Bloomberg source, the ship's 183 crew members have been accommodated in local military bases. The Indian Ministry of External Affairs, however, assessed the ship's entry into the port as a humanitarian step.
