The Israeli army announced that it struck control posts belonging to the “Basij” forces located in Tehran.
Modern.az reports that this was stated in a statement issued by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).
According to the information, it was determined that “Basij” units had established road control points in various parts of the capital. It is reported that, based on intelligence information, the Israeli Air Force targeted these posts and the forces located there within the last 24 hours.
“Basij” is considered a paramilitary organization operating under the control of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
