Rima Davtyan, a participant in the "Reading is in Fashion" campaign and a close friend of Anna Akopyan, the former wife of the prime minister, has announced within her close circle her intention to claim the post of Minister of Education.
Modern.az reports that the "Hraparak" newspaper wrote about this, citing sources.
According to the information, Davtyan hopes to be appointed to this position after the parliamentary elections. The newspaper also does not rule out that Akopyan retains her influence over the prime minister's personnel policy.
It is noted that Davtyan was previously a member of the Republican Party of Armenia. Currently, she is the director of School No. 189 named after Samvel Gevorgyan in Yerevan and participates in Akopyan's initiatives.
