The US has depleted years' worth of ammunition stockpiles during two weeks of attacks on Iran.
Modern.az reports, citing foreign media, that according to calculations by the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), the US used 168 "Tomahawk" missiles in the first 100 hours of a war in the Middle East.
"This is a lot. And it will take years to replenish them," a US congressman said.
The Trump administration estimates that the first six days of a war with Iran would cost at least 11.3 billion dollars.
White House Press Secretary Carolyn Livitt stated on March 12 that the US military has "sufficient" ammunition and weapons to "achieve the objectives" of President Trump's operation against Iran.
