The US military has confirmed the death of 4 crew members of an Air Force refueling aircraft that crashed in western Iraq.
Modern.az reports, citing CNN, that there are speculations that the incident occurred as a result of an enemy attack or friendly fire.
According to officials, a second US aircraft was also in the area during the incident, and it is currently being investigated whether the incident occurred as a result of a possible technical or flight incident related to that aircraft.
It should be recalled that some time ago, the US Central Command had announced that efforts to rescue the other two crew members on board the KC-135 Stratotanker were ongoing.
