The Turkish Ministry of National Defense has issued an official statement regarding a ballistic missile launched from Iran.
Modern.az reports that, in the statement issued by the Ministry, it was announced that the ballistic missile launched from Iran and entering Turkish airspace was neutralized by NATO air and missile defense elements deployed in the Eastern Mediterranean.
It was added that it was emphasized that all necessary measures are being taken decisively and without hesitation against all threats directed at Turkish territory and airspace:
"Discussions are being held with the relevant country to clarify all aspects of the incident. All developments in the region are being closely monitored and evaluated, and our national security is a priority".
