The number of nuclear missiles targeting the US will sharply increase in the coming years.
According to Modern.az, US Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard stated in her speech prepared for the hearings held by the Senate Intelligence Committee that by 2035, the number of missiles capable of targeting the main part of the US could exceed 16,000.
According to her, currently this figure is over 3,000. The intelligence community believes that as a result of the increasing missile potential of various countries, the overall threat to the US will significantly rise.
It should be noted that the hearings are being held in the US Senate, where global security risks, including nuclear threats, are being discussed.
