Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has ordered Iran's military and security attachés and their staff to leave the country within 24 hours.
Modern.az reports that this was stated in a BBC report.
"Both the embassy's military and security attachés, as well as the staff, have been declared persona non grata, and we demand that they leave the country within a maximum of 24 hours," the ministry's statement said.
This occurred after the attack on the industrial center of Ras Laffan, where Iran's oil and gas facilities are located.
Earlier, Qatari authorities had declared the attack on Ras Laffan a direct threat to national security.
