Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has promised to refrain from attacks on Iran's oil and gas facilities.

Modern.az reports, citing foreign media, that the Israeli Prime Minister said in this regard:

"Israel attacked Iran's Asaluyeh gas complex alone. President Trump asked us to refrain from future attacks, and we will do so," the prime minister stated.

Netanyahu also said that no leader engages in “coordinated action with him and Donald Trump.”

He also denied claims that Israel was dragging the US into a conflict.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump stated that he had warned Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to refrain from attacks on Iran's oil and gas facilities. He made this statement during a meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi at the White House.

"I told him (Netanyahu) not to do it again, and he won't," the White House chief stated. According to Trump, the US and Israel act independently, while also coordinating their efforts: "He (Netanyahu) occasionally does something, and if I don't like it, then we don't do it."
