Due to the ongoing conflict between the US and Israel with Iran, Gulf countries have banned large outdoor gatherings, including Eid al-Fitr prayers.
Modern.az reports that this year, worshippers have been warned not to gather in traditional outdoor prayer venues for prayers. It was noted that prayers should only be performed in mosques.
Zayn Basrawi, an Al Jazeera correspondent reporting from Dubai, noted that the ban on outdoor gatherings violates "a widely accepted tradition in Muslim countries." He stated that this demonstrates the significant impact of the conflicts on daily life in the Middle East.
