Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has admitted that achieving regime change against Iran through air strikes is difficult. According to him, a "ground component" is required for real regime change.
According to Modern.az, Netanyahu commented at a press conference that replacing one ayatollah with another in Iran would be like “replacing Hitler with Hitler”.
He noted that the Iranian people must eventually rise up:
"We can create the conditions, but they must seize these conditions at the right moment".
Benjamin Netanyahu stated that "revolution cannot happen "only from the air":
"Much can be done from the air, and we are doing it, but... there must also be a ground component".
"There are many options for this ground component, and I will not share all these possibilities with you", Netanyahu told reporters.
