NATO has withdrawn its troops from Iraq due to the war in the Middle East.
Modern.az reports that this information was provided by NATO's Supreme Allied Forces Commander in Europe, Aleksus Grinkevich. He stated that this decision was made against the backdrop of the emerging security situation.
"I would like to thank the Republic of Iraq and all NATO allies for the safe relocation of all NATO personnel from Iraq to Europe," he added.
This information was also confirmed by NATO's spokesperson in Brussels, Alison Hart.
