A fight broke out near the synagogue on Bolshoy Spasoglinishchevsky Street in the center of Moscow.
Modern.az reports that the Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for Moscow has begun work to identify the perpetrators.
The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs added that when the police arrived, the participants of the incident had left the scene.
"Currently, investigative measures are ongoing to identify and detain those involved in the illegal act. Their actions will be evaluated in accordance with the law," the department added.
A source in law enforcement agencies clarified to TASS that the incident occurred near the Moscow Choral Synagogue in the center of Moscow. According to preliminary information, unknown individuals attacked worshippers leaving the synagogue. A verbal dispute escalated into a fight involving approximately 12 people.
