Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenka has visited Pyongyang, the capital of North Korea.
Modern.az reports that the press service of the Belarusian president has released information regarding this.
Lukashenka was welcomed at the airport by Kim Tok Hun, First Deputy Prime Minister of the DPRK, and Maksim Ryzhenkov, Belarusian Foreign Minister.
It was stated that the main purpose of the visit is the signing of a friendship agreement aimed at strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
Belarusian Foreign Minister Maksim Ryzhenkov noted that there are broad mutual interests between the parties, and these issues will be reflected in the document to be signed.
