The Armenian government has expressed an open position regarding possible changes in the management of the country's railways.
Modern.az reports that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has commented on the possibility of transferring the concession management of the country's railway to a Kazakh company.
He noted that this issue could only be possible based on mutual agreement with Russia.
“If a mutual agreement is reached between Russia and Armenia, and the Kazakh company is deemed acceptable by both sides, we would not object to it,” Pashinyan stated.
The Prime Minister added that no concrete negotiations are currently underway in this direction. However, official Yerevan plans to achieve a partnership agreement with Russia in the future.
