Zimbabwean authorities have issued a statement regarding the losses of its citizens participating in the war in Ukraine.

It has been reported that at least 15 Zimbabwean citizens recruited to fight on Russia's side have died.
According to the information, Ukrainian officials state that a total of over 1700 individuals from African countries have been deceived and recruited into the war. It is noted that they are participating in battles on Russia's side.
