Iran offered Trump to become Supreme Leader.
Modern.az reports that former US President Donald Trump has made further controversial statements regarding Iran.
Trump claimed that the Iranian side offered him to become the “Supreme Leader.” According to him, he did not accept this offer:
“Iran offered me to be the supreme leader. And I said, "no, thank you, I don't want that"”.
The former president added that Iranian representatives behave completely differently and strangely in negotiations and are, in fact, begging to reach an agreement with the United States.
He stated that Iran is forced to agree due to its military weakening, but despite this, official Tehran publicly declares that it is only considering US proposals.
Trump sharply criticized this approach, warning that Iran should not waste time:
“They must take this seriously soon. Otherwise, it will be too late. Once this happens, there will be no turning back, and the consequences will not be pleasant” - he emphasized.
