UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk called for an investigation into the attack on a girls' school in Minab, Iran.

Modern.az reports, citing foreign media, that he stated during a debate at the UN Human Rights Council:

"High-ranking US officials have stated that an investigation into the attack is underway. I demand that this process be completed as soon as possible and its results be made public".

On February 28, the first day of aggression by the US and Israel against Iran, a girls' school in the south of the country was struck. 168 schoolgirls, as well as 14 teachers and staff, were killed.

The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs claimed that the US struck the girls' school with “Tomahawk” cruise missiles.
