Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (SEPAH) announced that US-owned military assets were shot down.
Modern.az reports that this was stated in a statement issued by SEPAH's Press Service.
According to the information, the organization's air defense forces shot down a US-owned MQ-9 type strategic unmanned aerial vehicle with anti-aircraft fire in the skies of Shiraz.
The statement noted that also, a US-owned F-16 fighter jet was shot down in the south of Fars province and was forced to land at one of the airports in Saudi Arabia in a damaged condition.
