The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has canceled all types of residence permits (VNZ) issued to Iranian citizens.
Modern.az reports that the Tehran Times publication reported this.
In particular, Abu Dhabi has also canceled the “golden” residence permits granted to investors in the country. The publication claims that with this step, the UAE has “appropriated” Iranian assets worth approximately 530 billion dollars.
The UAE has not yet officially confirmed this information.
It is reported that Iran carried out attacks on the UAE after the start of operations by the US and Israel. Tehran had previously announced that it would target US bases located in the Middle East. There are casualties in the UAE as a result of Iranian strikes. For instance, on March 26, two people died and three were injured as a result of the debris from a downed unmanned aerial vehicle falling in Abu Dhabi.
