A ballistic missile, determined to have been launched from Iran, was neutralized in the Eastern Mediterranean.
Modern.az reports that the Turkish Ministry of National Defense issued a statement regarding this.
"A ballistic munition, determined to have been launched from Iran and entering Turkish airspace, was neutralized by NATO air and missile defense elements deployed in the Eastern Mediterranean," the statement said.
It was noted that necessary measures are being taken decisively and without hesitation against all kinds of threats directed at Turkish territory and airspace, and all developments in the region are being closely monitored.
