Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, commenting on the military campaign against Iran, stated that the main culprit of the war in the region is the Israeli government.
Modern.az reports that Erdoğan spoke about this at the meeting of the AK Party's parliamentary group.
"The main party responsible for this unlawful war, which has not only turned our region into a place of devastation but also imposed a heavy economic burden on all humanity, is the Israeli government, mired in conflict, chaos, and crises," the Turkish President stated.
Erdoğan said that the war continues, increasing the level of danger: "Our priority is for our country to pass through this period without incident. We are determined to keep Turkey away from this fire."
Speaking about the attacks by the US and Israel on Iran, Erdoğan stated: "It should not be forgotten that every drop of blood shed in this war will be a lifeline extending Netanyahu's political life. The Israeli government is primarily responsible for this unlawful war, which has not only turned our region into a war zone but also imposed an economic burden on all humanity. Our hope is that a path to peace will open without further bloodshed. For this, we will continue to put our hands, and if necessary, our bodies, at risk."
