The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (SEPAH) announced that it struck an oil tanker in the Strait of Hormuz.
Modern.az reports that SEPAH disseminated information about this on its official social media page.
"As a result of SEPAH's missile strike, an oil tanker named 'Aqua 1' was hit," the report stated.
The Corps added that the tanker linked to Israel was engulfed in flames.
It should be recalled that the US and Israel began military operations against Iran on February 28. As a result, Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and several high-ranking officials were killed. Subsequently, Iran began striking targets it had identified in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Bahrain, Iraq, and Cyprus, where military bases of the US and its allies are located, in addition to Israel.
