The news disseminated by the Israeli side a few days ago regarding the assassination of Gholam Hossein Mohseni-Ejei, head of Iran's judicial system, has been denied.
Modern.az reports that the Iranian press has publicized the appeal issued by Mohseni-Ejei today.
Gholam Hossein Mohseni-Ejei announced that he has joined the “Sacrifice for Iran” campaign and is ready to die if necessary.
Gholam Hossein Mohseni-Ejei (born 1956) has served in various state positions since 1984. He held the position of Iran's intelligence minister from 2005 until July 2009. Since 2021, he has served as the head of Iran's Supreme Court - Chief Justice.
After the assassination of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, Mohseni-Ejei works alongside President Masoud Pezeshkian and Ali Reza Arafi in the temporary Leadership Council.
It should be recalled that the US and Israel have been carrying out attacks on Iranian territory since February 28. As a result of these attacks, dozens of high-ranking officials, including Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Seyed Khamenei, have been killed.
