US President Donald Trump may dismiss Tulsi Gabbard, Director of the Central Intelligence Agency, from her post.
Modern.az reports that "The Guardian" newspaper has come forward with this claim.
It was stated that Gabbard's cover-up of the work of her former deputy, who opposed the war with Iran, displeased Trump. The President asked Administration members whether to replace Tulsi Gabbard.
Sources reported that Trump's suspicions regarding Gabbard arose after her testimony at the global threats hearing held on Capitol Hill last month. She refused to condemn her resigning deputy, Joe Kent, for stating that Iran does not pose a direct threat to the US.
According to sources, Kent's resignation and criticism of the war greatly angered Trump, but he was particularly displeased by Gabbard's defense of Kent and her unwillingness to defend an attack on Iran.
