The Pentagon has confirmed the resignation of General Randy George, Chief of Staff of the U.S. Army.
Modern.az reports that Department spokesperson Sean Parnell made a statement on social media regarding this.
It was reported that General Randy George will retire immediately after his tenure as the 41st Chief of Staff of the Army. The Department of the Army thanked him, highly appreciating his service to the country, and wished him success in retirement.
With this, the Pentagon confirmed previous media reports. It should be recalled that “CBS News” had previously reported, citing sources, that Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth had demanded George's resignation.
