The price of jet fuel in Europe has risen to a record level, reaching 1900 US dollars per ton.
Modern.az reported this, citing the publication “Politico”. According to the publication, the price of jet fuel rose to a record high of 1900 dollars per ton on Thursday. According to the information, the situation is particularly sensitive for Great Britain. Thus, due to the increase in aviation fuel prices, some flights at Heathrow Airport have begun to be cancelled.
Airports in France are also indicated as being in the risk group. However, according to the publication, several months' worth of fuel reserves are available in other European countries, which could partially mitigate the short-term effects of the situation.
