Armenian officials tried to contact Sergey Kirienko, First Deputy Head of the Russian Presidential Administration, but received a refusal.

According to the newspaper, during his visit to Moscow in February, Parliament Speaker Alen Simonyan wanted to meet with Kirienko, but his attempt was unsuccessful. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan also tried to arrange a meeting between his chief of staff Arayik Harutyunyan and Kirienko during his last visit to Moscow, but the attempt was unsuccessful.
