A contract soldier has died in Armenia.
Modern.az reports that the Armenian press has disseminated information about this.
The Investigative Committee stated that the incident occurred on April 2, 2026, at the training ground of the Ministry of Defense.
In connection with the incident, a criminal case has been initiated under Part 3 of Article 550 of the Criminal Code (negligence of a military official, causing human death through carelessness) and Part 3 of Article 532 (violation of rules for handling weapons, ammunition, military equipment, or other military property, materials, devices, or objects posing a greater danger to the environment, causing human death through carelessness).
