In Iran, two members of the “Mujahedin-e Khalq” group, convicted of terrorism, have been executed.

It was reported that Abolhassan Montazer and Vahid Bani-Amaryan, members of the opposition People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran, were executed. Their death sentences were carried out in Tehran after being confirmed by the Supreme Court. It was noted that the individuals carried out armed attacks and explosions in the capital, and also participated in financing the group and organizing its clandestine activities.
They were arrested while preparing for their next attack and were found guilty by the court of armed rebellion, conspiracy against national security, and terrorist activities.
