Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has visited Istanbul for talks with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Modern.az reports, citing foreign media, that Serhiy Nykyforov, spokesperson for the Ukrainian head of state, made a statement regarding this.

Within the framework of the visit, Zelenskyy, in addition to representatives of the Turkish state leadership, will also meet with Bartholomew I, the current Archbishop of the Orthodox Church of Constantinople.

No other details have been provided.
