Nikol Pashinyan will lead the list of the ruling Civil Contract Party in the parliamentary elections to be held in Armenia on June 7.
Modern.az citing foreign media, reports that he was also officially confirmed as the party's candidate for Prime Minister.
Pashinyan's candidacy was unanimously approved by vote on April 4 at the party's eighth, extraordinary congress. The proceedings of the congress were broadcast live via local television channels.
It should be recalled that, according to the results of the two-stage internal elections held in the "Civil Contract" Party, Nikol Pashinyan, having garnered 933 votes, also gained the right to lead the party list.
