A meeting has started between Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Modern.az reports that Turkey's Communications Director Burhanettin Duran has issued a statement on this matter.
He stated that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy paid a working visit to Turkey on April 4, 2026. It was noted that during the meetings held in Istanbul, issues on the bilateral agenda with Ukraine, as well as regional developments, are being discussed.
The statement emphasized that in the talks, efforts aimed at ensuring a ceasefire and achieving long-term peace, including the “Istanbul Process”, are among the main topics of discussion.
