Iran's new air defense system neutralized three aircraft and two helicopters belonging to the US and Israel on April 3.
According to information disseminated by Modern.az, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (SEPAH) issued an official statement today regarding this.
It was stated that among the downed equipment were one F-35 fighter jet, two A-10 attack aircraft, and two “Black Hawk” helicopters. SEPAH also noted that a unified and integrated air defense system was implemented.
Previously, the Iranian side had announced that an F-35 was destroyed and its pilot was detained. However, the US publication “Axios”, citing a source close to the incident, wrote that it could actually be a two-seater F-15E Strike Eagle type aircraft.
