Ukraine and Syria plan to mutually resume the activities of their embassies in Damascus and Kyiv in the near future.
Modern.az reports that this was announced by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrey Sibiha. The minister stated that this step is of great importance for strengthening partnership between the two countries. Currently, a Ukrainian delegation is on a visit to Damascus. President Volodymyr Zelensky met with Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa. During the meeting, security and defense issues, the situation in the region, developments around Iran, as well as cooperation in the energy and infrastructure sectors were discussed.
