The US offer to NATO allies to participate in a military operation against Iran was evaluated by the American authorities as a test of the North Atlantic Alliance.
Modern.az reports that this was stated by US President Donald Trump in an interview with ABC television.
The TV channel quoted the US leader's remarks on the X social network: “I did this as a test. I don't need it, do I? They (NATO) are a “paper tiger”, they have no ships and Russian President Vladimir Putin is not afraid of them at all.”
According to the information, Trump, with this statement, questioned NATO's military capabilities and solidarity within the alliance.
