US President Donald Trump's expletive-laden warning against Iran regarding the Strait of Hormuz on his social media platform "Truth Social" has drawn attention.
“Tuesday will be Power Plant Day and Bridge Day in Iran, all rolled into one. Nothing like it will happen!!! Open the damn strait, you crazy bastards, or you will live in Hell – just watch!” Trump wrote on his "Truth Social" account.
Later, the US leader set a new deadline, writing “Tuesday, 8:00 PM Eastern Time!”
Following Trump's post, Iranian embassies in several countries responded critically to him via the X platform.

In a post by the Iranian embassy in South Africa, in response to Trump's post, it was written: “Seriously consider the 25th Amendment, Section 4.” It should be noted that this is a constitutional provision that allows the Vice President and a majority of the Cabinet to declare the president unfit for office.
The Iranian embassy in Bulgaria, however, responded to Trump with irony: “Calm down, tiger. (sic) Calm down,” it wrote.
The Iranian embassy in Austria wrote that Trump's desperation was palpable:
“#POTUS has descended to an unprecedented level of begging, filled with bitter, empty rudeness and threats. Desperation is palpable in almost every syllable, especially in the randomly thrown abusive remarks. US attacks are war crimes. Another warning: protect all minors under 18 from exposure to #Trump's rhetoric.”
The Iranian embassy in the United Kingdom quoted a common proverb: “It is better to keep your mouth shut and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt.” The embassy also stated that Trump's threat was “a sign of weakness and illness.”
The Iranian embassy in Zimbabwe published a list of examples of “presidential etiquette.” The list includes respectful and measured language in public statements.
The Iranian embassy in India addressed Trump as an old man: “Swearing and insulting is how the defeated behave bitterly. Control yourself, old man!”.
