Turkey's "Karpowership" company has sent one of its floating power plants to this country with the aim of strengthening Cuba's energy supply.
Modern.az reports that NTV has published information on this matter.
It is reported that the specialized vessel named “Belgin Sultan” has docked at Havana port. The TV channel notes that this vessel will serve as a “lifeline” for the island, which is experiencing fuel supply problems and has an outdated energy infrastructure.
According to the information, Karpowership, a subsidiary of "Karadeniz Holding" company, is the only company in the world with a fleet of floating power plants. The company currently operates in several countries, including Côte d'Ivoire, Ghana, Mozambique, Senegal, Iraq, and Brazil.
It should be noted that the floating power plants used by "Karpowership" are built on special platforms or vessels and can operate on liquefied natural gas, natural gas, as well as liquid fuel.
