Pakistan has declared that it will side with Saudi Arabia in the event of regional escalation.
Modern.az reports that this information has been disseminated, citing Pakistan's security sources. It is reported that if Iran launches stronger attacks against Saudi Arabia, Islamabad will support Riyadh.
According to sources, this stance has been formed against the backdrop of a possible increase in regional tensions and is explained by the existence of security cooperation between the parties.
It has been noted that a strategic mutual defense mechanism exists between Pakistan, which possesses nuclear weapons, and Saudi Arabia. Within this framework, any aggression against one of the parties is considered an act directed against both.
