The US has assured Israel that it will remain committed to the two countries' common goals during talks with Iran.
Modern.az reports that "The Times of Israel" published this information, citing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
“The United States has confirmed to Israel its commitment to achieving the goals shared by the US, Israel, and regional allies during the upcoming talks,” – the Prime Minister's statement said.
Furthermore, Israel supports Trump's decision to halt strikes against Iran.
“Israel supports President Trump's decision to suspend strikes against Iran for a period of two weeks, provided that Iran immediately opens the Strait of Hormuz and ceases all attacks against the US, Israel, and countries in the region,” – Netanyahu's statement noted.
He added that the Jewish state also highly appreciates the US efforts aimed at neutralizing the “Iranian threat.”
It should be noted that a 2-week ceasefire agreement was reached last night in the war between the US-Israel coalition and Iran.
