US President Donald Trump called the day a two-week ceasefire with Iran was announced a significant date for the entire world.

Modern.az reports that he wrote about this on the Truth Social social network.

According to Trump, the Islamic Republic can begin a restoration process, and with this, a "golden age" can begin in the Middle East.

"It's a great day for the world... Iran wants this, it's already tired... A golden age can begin in the Middle East, just like in the US!" - Trump noted.
