US President Donald Trump stated that official Washington achieved a "complete and decisive victory" by agreeing to a two-week ceasefire with Iran.

Modern.az reports that Trump stated this in an interview he gave to AFP news agency.

Shortly after the agreement was announced, Trump said in a brief phone interview: "A complete and decisive victory. 100 percent. There is no doubt about it."

He also stated that as part of the ceasefire, Iran's uranium reserves "will be handled at an excellent level." He noted that China helped Iran reach an agreement with the US.
