US President Donald Trump has warned of tougher military actions if a possible agreement with Iran is violated.
Modern.az reports that Trump made a post about this on the social network “Truth Social”.
The US leader stated that military forces and equipment deployed in the region will maintain their positions until a real agreement is fully implemented:
“All US ships, aircraft, and military personnel, as well as additional ammunition and weapons, everything necessary for tracking and destroying the weakened enemy, will remain in and around Iran. This will continue until the REAL AGREEMENT reached is fully implemented”.
Trump added that if the agreement does not materialize, the US could initiate larger-scale military operations:
“If for any reason this does not happen, which is very unlikely, then fire will be opened. This will be broader, of higher quality, and more powerful than anything seen before”.
The US President emphasized that Washington's main goal is to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons:
“The decision has long been made: there will be no nuclear weapons. And the Strait of Hormuz will remain open and safe”.
Trump also noted that the US military is currently restoring its forces and is ready for the next steps:
“Our great military is replenishing its reserves and resting, while eagerly awaiting the next victory. America is back!”.
