Chechen units are not considering participation in possible military operations on the side of Iran.
Modern.az reports that Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov stated this.
"Rumors are circulating on the internet that Chechen units are allegedly ready to advance towards Iran to repel an American ground attack. If Iran were fighting only against the US and Israel, this would most likely happen. But they are also attacking our brothers.
Undoubtedly, I personally support the Iranian side. However, I do not support Iran's strikes on civilian targets and civilian infrastructure in Arab Gulf countries. I have fraternal relations with UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It deeply saddens me to see civilians in these and other third countries become innocent victims of the conflict," Kadyrov said.
