Belgian Foreign Minister Maxim Prevot stated that his life was in danger during the strikes carried out by the Israeli Air Force in Beirut.
Modern.az reports that the minister wrote about this on his "X" account.
According to him, the purpose of his visit to Lebanon was to demonstrate solidarity, but an unexpected incident occurred during the visit:
“I had come to express support and solidarity with Lebanon. Shortly before the meeting with President Joseph Aoun, Israel carried out one of its largest attacks without warning. We were at the embassy, and missiles landed just a few hundred meters from us.”
However, it is noted that certain warnings were reportedly issued in advance regarding the attacks carried out against “Hezbollah” targets in Beirut.
